Number 3

Number 3 is the largest of the four Schoolhouse homes, with a spacious lounge with log burner and sofa bed, and separate kitchen with extending dining table. The spacious family room enjoys a family bathroom with shower over bath, whilst the King-size bedroom has a private en-suite shower room.

The Space

Up the stairs, a landing leads to separate staircases to the two bedrooms. The far bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite shower room. The washer/dryer can be found in the cupboard under the stairs, along with laundry detergent, airer, ironing board, toddler seat & vacuum cleaner. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed, plus a further travel cot and “Z-bed” in the wardrobe for use by additional children.

Number 3’s private enclosed garden is a short distance from the property (the other side of the private car park).  The garden contains a hot tub for 4 people, a large outdoor dining table, sunloungers and a flower garden.

There are two parking spaces available for Number 3 (option for EV charging on request).

Location

All of our properties have 100% cotton bed linen (professionally laundered), eco-friendly toiletries and cleaning products, Netflix and internet. We provide tea, coffee, toilet rolls and cooking basics (herbs, oils, sauces). A washer/dryer with laundry detergent is provided, along with an ironing board and iron.

For babies and toddlers we have a travel cot (fitted sheet and cellular blanket provided), a changing mat, potty, high chair, toddler chair, plastic plates and cutlery, and baby gates on top and bottom of stairs. We also provide a range of games and books for all ages, and colouring supplies.

We are located just behind the High Street, 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes' stroll from the beach.  We have private private parking spaces including two EV charging spaces, both free to use

There is a Co-Op supermarket across the street, plus Sainsburys and various independent food stores on the high street. As you enter Whitstable we have Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi and M&S food at the top of the hill.

The joy of Whitstable is in tasting the varied local treats, we're famous for our variety of cafes, bars and restaurants, some which should be booked in advance in summer. Please see our website or the information booklet in the home for more information.

The harbour and beach can be easily reached by walking in various directions, enjoying dog walks across the golf course, exploring the historic alleyways, or browsing the plethora of independent shops along the high street.

We also have a bike and scooter store, and bike (and boat/board) hire is available next to the Yacht Club.

Whitstable is the ideal starting point for days out in North Kent, you can also cycle or take the frequent bus service into Canterbury, or the train to London.
